WE ARE 401: Alex Cardona (EPHS Class of 2003) and Family — Building on a Legacy
In our new “WE ARE 401” video, we meet EPHS Class of 2003 graduate Alex Cardona and his family. Son Eric, an EPHS junior, and older daughter Kylie, a freshman, play percussion in the Marching Tigers, just like their father did! They also play soccer like their dad did— even having the same head coach, Martin Blake!
But Eric and Kylie are also creating their own paths, whether it be in choir (Eric), cheerleading (Kylie) or theater (both siblings). And in a few short years their younger sister, Isabella, a 5th grader at Elmwood Elementary School, will be continuing the family legacy at EPHS herself.
Through it all, Alex and his wife, Jennifer, are there to support and encourage their children as the younger Cardonas leave their own lasting impressions on District 401.
"WE ARE 401" is a video series highlighting those who have a connection with Elmwood Park Community Unit School District 401, past or present, and whose stories help illustrate who we are.
